The Voice of Germany is a German reality talent show that premiered in November 2011. The show is based on the Dutch talent show The Voice of Holland, and the winner is determined by viewer votes.
The show features four judges, who are all successful singers in the German music industry. The judges select contestants based purely on their voice during the blind audition process, where they cannot see the contestant but only hear their singing.
The contestants are then put into teams led by the judges, where they battle it out in various rounds of duets and solos. The winner is ultimately crowned as the Voice of Germany.
The show has been successful in Germany and has been adapted into a number of international versions, including The Voice UK, The Voice Australia, and The Voice Kids.
